'Congratulates South African rapper AKA' Rapper Khaligraph admits defeat

Most popular Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones demonstrated maturity by congratulating South African rapper AKA who beat him to a top continental prize.

Khaligraph Jones was among top African rappers who were nominated for Best Hip Hop in the just concluded Soundcity MVP Awards.

The continental award gala was held at the Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday night January 5th.

Khaligraph was pitted against Africa’s hip hop heavyweight including AKA, M.I. Abaga, Nasty C, Kwesi Arthur and Phyno. Of course AKA emerged as the winner.

The Kenyan rapper took to social media to congratulate AKA on winning the Soundcity MVP Award for Best Hip Hop.

“Congratulations to the big Hommie @akaworldwide for winning the MVP Best Hip Hop award, we Live to Win another day fam, to all those who voted for me thank you so much, lets keep the Ball rolling, Taking KE Hip Hop to heights that have never been witnessed before#respecttheogs,” wrote Khaligraph Jones.
